We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6-12 years of expertise in ABAP programming to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our SAP implementation and support projects, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions across various SAP modules. Key Responsibilities:

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Data Migration, etc.) as per client specifications and business requirements.
• SAP Module Integration: Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions across various SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, WM, etc.).
• Enhancements & Modifications: Implement user exits, BADI (Business Add-ins), and other enhancements to standard SAP applications to meet business needs.
• SAP Forms: Create and maintain smart forms and SAPscript for print layout for various business documents (invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, etc.).
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in custom programs and optimize the code for better system performance.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for troubleshooting and debugging issues within the ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
• Data Migration: Develop custom solutions for data migration during system upgrades or migrations, using tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and custom programs.
• System Testing & Documentation: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and prepare technical documentation for the developed solutions.
• SAP Upgrades & Patches: Work on system upgrades and patches to ensure the ABAP solutions are compatible with new releases of SAP.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to deliver solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to existing programs, processes, and applications to optimize overall SAP system performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 6-12 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development, including experience in custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and data migration.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming (Reports, ALV, Module Pool, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements, etc.).
• Experience with SAP Forms (Smartforms, SAPscript).
• Knowledge of IDocs, BAPI, ALE, and RFC for system integration.
• Strong experience with SAP HANA or ABAP on HANA for performance optimization and code refactoring.
• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) and its best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Netweaver Gateway and Web Services (SOAP, REST).
• Functional Knowledge: Good understanding of key SAP modules like SAP SD, MM, FI, CO, WM, or HR, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Problem-Solving & Debugging: Excellent debugging skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues in the SAP environment.
• Tools & Technologies: Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SE80, ECL (Enhanced Change and Transport System), and other SAP development tools.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, technical teams, and functional consultants.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and contribute to the success of SAP projects.
• Certifications (Optional): SAP ABAP certification or relevant SAP certifications are a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 development and integration with ABAP is an advantage.
• Agile methodology experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO for integration projects is beneficial.
