We are seeking an experienced Talend Administrator with a strong background in Talend Administration Center (TAC) and hands-on experience managing Talend environments for data integration, ETL, and data quality projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Talend administration, with expertise in performance tuning, job scheduling, and troubleshooting. This role involves maintaining the Talend environment, optimizing job execution, ensuring security, and providing support for development and data engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Talend Environment Setup and Configuration:
- Install, configure, and manage Talend environments (development, testing, and production) to ensure they are properly set up, secure, and aligned with business needs.
- Set up and manage Talend Administration Center (TAC), ensuring proper user permissions, security settings, and system access controls.

Job Scheduling and Monitoring:
- Monitor Talend jobs and processes, ensuring successful job executions and timely completion.
- Manage job scheduling through Talend Administration Center, handling job dependencies and optimizing workflows for efficiency.
- Ensure smooth and efficient Talend job execution, proactively addressing and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:
- Identify performance bottlenecks in Talend jobs and optimize them to improve processing efficiency and reduce execution times.
- Perform regular performance tuning of the Talend environment, including database query tuning for improved job execution.
- Recommend and implement system improvements and adjustments to optimize Talend job load balancing, resource allocation, and overall system performance.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and updates to Talend servers and environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Oversee system backups and restore processes to ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Talend job failures, connectivity, and system errors, collaborating with other IT teams when necessary.

Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the Talend environment adheres to security best practices, including implementing proper access controls, user management, and data encryption standards.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure Talend systems meet internal and industry security standards.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Identify and resolve issues related to Talend job failures, system connectivity, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve errors in Talend workflows, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly to avoid delays in project timelines.
- Maintain logs and error tracking systems for troubleshooting purposes and continuous improvement.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Document Talend environment setup, configurations, job scheduling processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Maintain and update operational and best practice documentation for the Talend platform, ensuring that development, data engineering, and operations teams have the most up-to-date information.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development and data engineering teams, helping them resolve issues related to Talend jobs and workflows.

Cloud Integration:
- Support Talend cloud integrations, particularly with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring seamless data flows and job executions in the cloud environment.
- Assist in cloud-based Talend setups and ensure compatibility with cloud-based data sources and systems.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Talend Cloud or Talend on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Talend certification (e.g., Talend Data Integration or Data Quality).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for managing Talend environments in cloud setups.
