We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in creating and managing complex data models, including 3NF, Dimensional, and Vault. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, Oracle Designer, or SQLDBM, and have the ability to reverse-engineer data models from existing databases for optimization. Experience with Snowflake is a significant advantage. Data modeling certifications are preferred. The role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and best practices to ensure scalability and consistency across the data models.
Data Model Creation & Management:
Create and manage complex data models (3NF, Dimensional, Vault) to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.
Data Modeling Tools:
Utilize data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, Oracle Designer, or SQLDBM to design and implement data models efficiently.
Reverse Engineering:
Reverse engineer existing databases to optimize and create new data models that align with business needs.
Snowflake Architecture (if applicable):
Design and implement scalable data architectures in Snowflake, optimizing performance and ensuring best practices.
Data Governance & Best Practices:
Ensure adherence to data modeling standards, governance policies, and best practices to maintain high-quality, reliable models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to meet both business and technical requirements.
Continuous Learning & Certification:
Maintain relevant certifications in data modeling and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data modeling techniques.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document data models, provide detailed reports on structure, performance, and optimization efforts.
