We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Project Management and Business Intelligence (BI) to manage complex data-driven projects. This individual will lead and execute large-scale, fixed bid engagements, leveraging their expertise in Agile Project Management methodologies. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions, focusing on the integration of data analytics platforms and delivering high-impact results to clients. A successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of data warehouse design, ETL processes, and SQL queries, with familiarity in tools like Power BI and SQL Server.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Project Management Experience:
- 10-15 years of overall experience in Project Management, with at least 5+ years managing complex Fixed Bid engagements.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with a focus on cost control, scope management, and client satisfaction.

Agile Project Management:
- Extensive experience and deep understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies, particularly in delivering data-centric projects.

Certifications:
- Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Safe Agile are highly preferred.

BI Development and Data Analytics:
- Solid experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development and supporting data analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse design (including dimensional modelling) and data mining techniques.
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and OLAP systems.

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with BI technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Azure Functions, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Ability to develop database queries, conduct analyses, and create visualizations and reports for data projects.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to innovate and proactively address project challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Project Management & Delivery:
- Lead and manage complex, fixed bid projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver BI solutions in an iterative and efficient manner.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and oversee the design, build, and deployment of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

Business Intelligence & Data Solutions:
- Design and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools, data analytics platforms) and ensure integration across business functions.
- Maintain and optimize data analytics platforms, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
- Develop and manage tools to store data, such as OLAP cubes, and optimize data processing systems.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, data scientists) to integrate systems and align with overall project goals.
- Communicate project status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.

Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Oversee unit testing and troubleshooting of BI solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems to meet evolving business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

- Create visualizations and reports for various stakeholders, ensuring that the right information is provided for decision-making.
- Develop and update technical documentation to ensure all systems, processes, and solutions are well-documented and maintained.
