We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Developer and BI Report Specialist with strong expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries from OLTP systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database management systems (DBMS) and be an expert in one or more of the following: MS SQL, Oracle PLSQL, MySQL, or DB2. You will be responsible for optimizing SQL queries, designing and documenting report development, and ensuring data consistency through reporting standards. Additionally, experience with Power BI and SSRS, as well as data-driven subscriptions, is highly desirable. Strong client management skills and the ability to collaborate with business teams for UAT completion and sign-off are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Query Writing & Analysis: Write and analyze complex SQL queries for OLTP systems to extract, transform, and load data.
• Database Management & Optimization: Manage databases and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, optimizing SQL queries for better performance.
• Expertise in DBMS: Deep expertise in MS SQL, Oracle PLSQL, MySQL, DB2, or other relevant DBMS platforms.
• Report Development & Documentation: Design, test, and document the development and modification of reports based on business requirements.
• Reporting Standards & Best Practices: Develop and implement reporting standards to ensure data consistency, quality, and standardization.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Work closely with business teams to complete UAT and secure sign-off for final report deployment.
• Client Management: Manage client relationships, providing support and adapting to various technologies.

Good to Have:

• Power BI & SSRS Experience: Working knowledge of Power BI and SSRS for creating reports, including Power BI Paginated Reports.
• Row-Level Security (RLS): Implement row-level security (RLS) to restrict data access in Power BI Paginated Reports based on role access.
• Report Optimization: Optimize SSRS/Paginated report performance for efficient rendering and faster load times.
• Data-Driven Subscriptions: Implement and manage data-driven subscriptions for sharing reports outside the organization.
• BI Tool Migration: Experience in migrating reports and BI solutions from other tools to Power BI.
