Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture:

• Design and implement scalable, robust, and flexible data architecture solutions using Azure services.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into efficient, optimized data models.
• Provide input on architectural decisions that ensure data solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical standards.

Data Engineering:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure-based technologies.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data processing.
• Utilize advanced data models and data warehouse (DWH) concepts for both structured and unstructured data.
• Work with Spark and NoSQL databases to enhance data engineering workflows.
• Develop data migration patterns, including data synchronization and cutover strategies for seamless data movement.

Azure Expertise:

• Leverage Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and others to design robust data solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and incorporate new functionalities to optimize the data architecture.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline deployment and management processes.

Data Integration:

• Integrate data from diverse sources, both on-premises and in the cloud, to create a comprehensive and unified view.
• Implement best practices for data integration within the Azure environment, ensuring smooth data flow and accessibility across systems.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and implement strategies for performance optimization in data storage, processing, and retrieval within the Azure environment.
• Perform regular performance monitoring and tuning to enhance the overall efficiency of data solutions.
