Experienced Google Analytics Expert with a proven track record of auditing, implementing, and optimizing Google Analytics (GA4) setups to ensure they align with business goals and drive actionable insights. Skilled in advanced features like custom dimensions, event tracking, e-commerce tracking, and cross-domain tracking. Adept at creating custom reports and dashboards, performing A/B testing, and implementing conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance website performance. Strong focus on client training, process documentation, and ongoing optimization based on data-driven insights. Proficient in integrating Google Analytics with CRM systems and advertising platforms to provide a comprehensive view of user behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Initial Assessment and Audit:

    • Conduct thorough Google Analytics audits for clients to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
    • Review existing tracking configurations and reporting to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Address issues related to data accuracy, data loss, and incorrect setup.
  2. Strategy Development:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and design analytics strategies that align with their goals.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance.
    • Develop a strategic plan for Google Analytics setup or optimization tailored to the client’s needs.
  3. Implementation and Configuration:

    • Set up and configure Google Analytics accounts, properties, views, and filters based on best practices.
    • Implement advanced features like custom dimensions, event tracking, and goal setup for better tracking of user interactions.
    • Integrate Google Analytics with other tools (e.g., CRM systems, advertising platforms) for comprehensive data collection.
  4. Customization and Advanced Tracking:

    • Develop and implement custom reports and dashboards to provide insights tailored to the client’s business needs.
    • Set up e-commerce tracking to monitor online transactions and revenue attribution.
    • Configure cross-domain tracking and ensure multi-device tracking is implemented for accurate user behavior analysis across different touchpoints.
  5. Training and Knowledge Transfer:

    • Conduct training sessions for clients to help them understand how to use and interpret Google Analytics data effectively.
    • Document processes, best practices, and provide guides to ensure the client’s team can manage their Google Analytics setup independently in the future.
  6. Ongoing Analysis and Optimization:

    • Continuously monitor key metrics and KPIs to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
    • Conduct A/B testing and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve website performance and user experience.
    • Provide actionable recommendations for optimizing website design, user experience, and performance based on data-driven insights.

Must Haves:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup and configuration experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for tag implementation and tracking.
  • Strong experience with e-commerce tracking, cross-domain tracking, and multi-device tracking.
  • Proven ability to define KPIs, develop strategic analytics plans, and set up event tracking and custom dimensions.
  • Hands-on experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Experience with client communication, training, and documentation to ensure effective use of Google Analytics.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from metrics and KPIs.
  • Ability to integrate Google Analytics with CRM systems and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
